HOLIDAY SPIRIT, NEIGHBORHOOD STYLE

Virginia Ave Park

The SMFD and SMPD stopped their sleigh at Virginia Ave Park long enough for Santa and some elves to do what they do best... get the shopping list for Mom and Dad. The Departments made their annual run through the City with sirens blaring and lights flashing on a half dozen vehicles on Dec 9.

*** IT WILL SNOW IN VIRGINIA AVE PARK ***
DEC 20 from 1 to 4

THERE WILL BE TREATS & GAMES TOO.
MITTENS ADVISED!!!

Lights on 22nd Street

Pico and Cloverfield

Delancey Street is back for their 8th year selling a wide variety of fresh trees on the corner of Pico & Cloverfield. Joe Martinez (with book in upper left) oversees his friendly crew. Michael, Maurice and Adriana of WLA, smile for the camera as they wander through the holiday forest.

Delancey Street is a unique and solely self-supported re-education program for men and women who have felt the jagged edge of a broken life. Unfunded by government or private foundations, Delancey Street earns all its money through enterprises like the Christmas tree lots. INFO 323 662 4888
